Dental Bridges
Whether you have one tooth or many teeth missing, a dental bridge is the perfect solution to removing the gap and giving you your full smile back.
What is a Dental Bridge?
Unlike a removable denture, dental bridges are fixed in place - so you can treat it like one of your own. It looks like the real deal, and is relatively easy to have made and fitted.
Dental bridges last a long time, and you’re able to eat and chew most things without a second thought. It gives you your lost tooth back.To fit your new teeth in place, we need to reshape the adjacent teeth to form ‘anchors’ for your bridge.
Filling Gaps
Losing a tooth can be stressful for anyone, and can put years on your smile. Luckily, there are lots of options to fill the gap - including a dental bridge.
What’s Available?
There are three different types of bridges; including the traditional, cantilever and Maryland bonded bridges. Traditional bridges involve creating a crown for the tooth or implant on either side of the missing tooth, with a pontic between which fills the gap.
Cantilever bridges are used when there are only teeth on one side of the gap, and Maryland bonded bridges are made of porcelain, supported by metal or porcelain framework. Porcelain wings are bonded to your existing teeth.
